Free AI visibility check: see what ChatGPT and AI search tell your buyers

Enter your website. We work out who your buyers are and what they ask, put those questions to AI assistants, and show you who gets recommended — you or a competitor — and why.

Check your site

We only read public pages. Nothing to install.

What you get

Your buyers' questions

The questions people ask AI before they buy in your category — about the problem, choosing a tool, alternatives, and your brand.

Who AI recommends

For each question: whether ChatGPT names you, who it names instead, and in what order.

Where the answers come from

The pages AI cites for those questions — the sites where you need to appear to be recommended.

What to fix first

The first concrete changes, ranked by how many valuable questions they affect: pages, platforms, facts, technical access.

The headline of the check is one plain sentence, built from your numbers — for example, "Buyers asking ChatGPT get Competitor — not you", followed by how often each was named.

How it works

  1. You enter your website. We read your public pages to understand what you sell and to whom. You confirm or correct it in one step.
  2. We write your buyers' questions. Seven questions across the buying stages — the problem, choosing a tool, alternatives, your brand — phrased the way a buyer who has never heard of you would ask.
  3. We ask AI. Each question goes to ChatGPT with web search on — the default model a free ChatGPT user gets — and we keep the full answers and their sources. We also look at Google results for the category questions and at your review-site ratings.
  4. We check the basics. Whether AI crawlers can reach your site, whether you have an app-store listing and a Wikipedia page, and other signals AI relies on.
  5. We read the answers. Who is named, in which position, with which facts, citing which pages, and where your facts are wrong or missing.
  6. You get the result in a private chat with an analyst, by e-mail as well. Ask follow-up questions there.

How this differs from an AEO grader

Graders such as HubSpot's AEO Grader are useful for a first look at one page. They answer a different question.

AEO graderSAGEO check
What it looks atOne page of your site, against a checklistThe answers AI gives to your buyers' questions
What it tells youHow "optimized" the page looksWhether you are recommended, and who is instead
CompetitorsUsually not shownNamed per question, with the pages that favour them
Third-party sitesNot coveredThe cited sources, which are mostly not your site
Next stepA list of page editsRanked changes on and off your site

The difference matters because a page can score well and still never be recommended: before buyers know your name, 95–99% of the sources AI cites are other sites.

After the check

Nothing is required. The check is yours to keep. If you want to go further:

  • Full report — more questions, all five engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews), and a complete plan;
  • Done-for-you project — we carry out the plan and re-measure every week.

Frequently asked questions

What does the free check measure?

Whether AI assistants name your product when buyers ask about your problem, your category and your alternatives; which competitors they name instead; which sites they cite; and what facts about you they get wrong.

How is this different from an AEO grader?

A grader scores one of your pages against a checklist. We ask AI the questions your buyers actually ask and look at the answers. A page can score well and still never be recommended, because most of the sources AI cites are not your site.

Which AI engines do you check?

The free check asks ChatGPT, the assistant most buyers use, with web search on, and looks at Google results for the category questions. The full report adds Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.

Do you need access to my site or analytics?

No. The check uses only what is public: your site and the AI answers. Nothing is installed.
